Obsession Confessions

It's no secret that I'm a girly girl. I love doing my hair, getting dolled up, and prancing around in heels. That's what being a girl is all about, right?! Of course besides being a strong, determined, smart woman. Here are a few of my absolute favorite primping items!

Sephora Color Reveal Lip Balm
A lip balm that adjusts to your unique pH to create a customized pink shade. AMAZING! I'm not a fan of lipstick so this works perfect for me with hint of color!
Smells soo good and keeps my summer hair looking amazing!
My first liquid eyeliner, ever, and I must say it's amazing. Gives me the quality I've been striving for. Its flow-through applicator allows for expert control to create a thick or thin line without dragging, tugging, or skipping.
This long, lean, and seductive case comes packed with 12 gorgeous neutrals that work for absolutely everyone. Shades range from delicate champagne to gritty gunmetal. I cannot get enough of this eye palette, works with everything.
This perfect trifecta of beauty goods helps you to create a shimmering lip, luminous complexion, and a sexy, smoky eye. It includes an illuminator in Nars' ever-popular shade, Orgasm, plus a pretty pink Lip Gloss in Deep Throat and Aigle Noir Soft Touch Shadow Pencil.
Many years of trying to find the "perfect" concealer and finally my prayers have been answered. This moisturizing concealer actually "bridges" fine lines and wrinkles, smoothing and minimizing them for an instantly firmer look. The skin-brightening ingredients help counteract shadows, reduce redness, and give skin more even tone. The long-lasting formula provides moderate, buildable coverage for all skin types.

This straightener is basically gods gift to hair. It makes hair straight, wavy, curly and everything in between. Leaving
strands noticeably shiny and conditioned; while the
silicone strips polish hair in just one pass for faster styling.

Because a Birds got to Eat & Moms are Amazing

Very much like you and I; birds feed daily! We decided to recycle our toilet paper rolls and make bird feeders with them. (I know, I'm a genius) Take a look

Spread peanut butter all over the roll...

Roll it in bird seeds...

Slip roll over a tree branch and viola...

Happy Mother's Day to all those amazing mommies! Without you all, this world would be impossible. I had my little munchkins craft up some mommy day gifts for their special ladies!

Classy Lady. Trashy Lady.

"Being classy is not about being stuck up. You need to cultivate respect and that means respect for everyone, including yourself. Take care to be polite to others and to reflect a genuine interest in them. Be confident in yourself, dress how you want and act accordingly. Class is all in how you come across, how you present and express yourself. If you have to tell people that you're classy, you've already defeated the purpose."

New flash ladies, trashy is not the way to get a guys attention. Facebook has been flooded with tons of trashy posts and pictures lately. It makes me wonder why?! Seeking attention? Lacking self-respect? Numb to keeping some things a mystery? Like the Tootsie Roll pops, the world may never know.

If you post half naked pictures on facebook, what does that get you? A bunch of likes on the photo for the day but honestly do you not see what message you're giving out when you post a picture of your legs wide open and your hand blocking your "pikachu" from being revealed. No guy wants an easy girl; if they do it's for one night; Honey, that won't get you far. It'll leave you with some nasty crabs/STDs if you're not smart, unwanted pregnancy, and a lousy reputation. A guy may give you the attention you're seeking and make it seem like he's all for you and you're the only girl he'll ever love but lets be real, he's just trying to get what you've been advertising.

It's truly sad when you see a mother acting this way. What would you think if your daughter was posting stuff in the same manner as you? If you don't want to be treated like a hoe, stop acting like one. Show some respect to yourself and you'll be surprised what will come out of it.

A Little Neglect Never Hurt Anybody... Kidding :)

Whew. It's been way to long since my last post. I feel guilty for slightly letting life get the best of my attention. Never again will that happen ;)

It's been a fun, yet chaotic couple days. Finally off bed rest, but couldn't return back to work because.... Pink Eye. ::yuck::
I wasn't liked very much by this one... apparently keeping her from school means I'm evil and ruining her social life. (lol)

Day before this pink eye madness, we had a lovely day strolling the streets of Downtown Melbourne for the Artfest! We made sure to take in the beautiful weather fully! Few pictures below of that lovely day.

Monday, since little munchkin had pink eye, we decided to have a "fancy tea party" after dinner. Nothing like cookies and milk out of wine glasses! It was a good time, I curled Kelsie's hair, put blush and lipstick on her, and gave her the choice of any of my jewelry and accessories!

Here's to New Things ;)

My dear friend, Ms Farlow has had a hold of introducing me to new things and I love her so much more for that. Taco Tuesday can only mean one thing.... TACOS, duh! We had some AMAZING blacken mahi and blacken shrimp tacos. Yumm

Apparently in this so-called "boring" town, the beer factory here has a beer tasting event every first Thursday of the month! How neat!! For $7 you get a cup and unlimited beer from 6-8pm. Pretty sure this will become a ritual, always a good time seeing friends, meeting new ones, proposing to Lindsay at a tipsy dinner, and seeing my super cute nephew. Kels just loves going over to Aunt Natasha's for some loving and Caydence time!

The best part of the week had to be Friday... only because I'm such a girl and I just love getting my hair done! Trying something new, went for some fun hair. Blonde, black and pink ;)

Congratulations to my dear friends, Christine and Angelina on graduating from UCF!!! So proud of these ladies! Celebrating over food and good laughs is always a plus. The Saturday fun followed by going out to celebrate Sam's 21st Birthday!!! Oh, did I mention it was Cinco De Mayo? Imagine how much more fun was just added! ;)

Again, Happy Birthday Samantha && Congratulations Christine and Angelina.
