Creamy Italian Chicken Pasta Crockpot! Yum!

Time to dust off the keyboard and get back to blogging! Tonight, I made an amazing dinner that I had to share because it was so simple. Any working mom will agree that crockpot meals are just easier to make with a chaotic schedule. Here's a new great recipe to add to your list of meals :)

You'll need:
4-5 Chicken Breast (cut up)
2 cans of cream of chicken
1 soften block of 8 oz cream cheese
1 packet of Zesty Italian seasoning
2 tbsp of garlic powder

Add all the ingredients and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. It will start looking like the yumminess below! Don't forget to boil your noodles and bake your garlic toast toward the last 20 mins of the crockpot cooking. I threw the cooked noodles in the crockpot and tossed it all together and viola! Dinner is served ;)

Fashion Forward Fall Trends!

It's right around the corner... cozy sweaters, pumpkin spiced lattes, cinnamon brooms, stylish scarves, fall time!!! I personally love this time of year and can't get enough of it! Just the other day, I made sure to buy two new scarves and a cute new winter hat; oh and some new boots ;) I've taken the time to compile some of this years fall trends that I must share with everyone! Grab your fall latte and let's get to it!

  1. Stained Lips: At first this scared me since I have dried out lips, so adding a stain would just dry my lips out more. If you apply a lip balm before the stain, it will help tremendously. The matte color will stay and your pout will be fall ready! Don't apply the balm on top of the stain or it'll just take away the color.
  2. Va Va Voom Hair: Ladies, our hair loves the fall weather! Don't waste time flat ironing it! Add some volumizing spray to your towel dried hair and blow dry for a tousled look. Embrace the waves and lion hair we've all been blessed with!
  3. Copper, Copper, Copper: Big hue coming into play this fall, doesn't matter if it's on your eyes, lips or cheeks. Copper will be a big trend on the scene! This color flatters every skin tone and it's such an easy color to track down!
  4. Mixed Up Mani: manicure trends are always on the edge of coming out with something new and edgier. Try mixing up some fall colors together; maybe have the ring finger a light fall color and the other four to be a dark fall color.
  5. Bright Shades: Step out of your comfort zone and try some daring matte shades this fall. I just bought the new Stila 'In the Know' palette and it's perfect for fall with fiery tones and matching neutrals. A few other neat shades to try is an electric purple or a deep green!
  6. Messy Buns: The messy bun is a staple in fashion. This fall rock a low messy bun with your hair parted to the side and loose front pieces. Remember, bobby pins are our friends!
  7. Accessorize Your Hair: Spice up the hair with some cute headbands or jeweled embellished hairpins. These items can transform any simple pony tail into something much more than ordinary.
  8. Creme Blushes: These blushes give you an intense color for the cheeks which is perfect for the looks this fall. Use this on top of your foundation and bronzer.
  9. Gel Eyeliner: I am in love with gel eyeliner, where has it been all these years?! It's very simple to apply on and leaves the eyes with a intense smudge eye look.
  10. Minimal Makeup: As much as it's fun to play around with fun Fall makeup colors, there was just as much "minimalist makeup" and bare faced beauties on the Fall runways. Try a little bit of blush, flesh tone eye shadows, layer of mascara, and a pink pouty lipgloss. Perfect for a bare face look.
Now go on and embrace fall! I just bought some new boots, leggings, and scarves! They'll make their appearances on Instagram soon ;)

Back to School Birchbox Style!!

Every beginning of the month, I'm like a little kid checking the mail for the months new birchbox! I love that the tracking number states it was due in a couple days then... Surprise it's sitting in my mailbox already.

I'm loving the "Beauty School" theme since we are all returning back into a new school year. Here's my supply list from the August Birchbox.

Check out this super cute insert. I love getting neat little booklets to read and this one is just perfect! Here's a list of the sections:

Tools of the Trade: Neat little section that gives you knowledge on some basic tools we use in our beauty regiment.
How to Read a Label: This is a break down on what is in your products and how to read the labels of those items.
5 Tips to a Better Shave: Master Barber Diane Wood gives you tips on how to get extra silky legs and bikni line too!
Makeup Quick Fixes: This one is my favorite; this will help you with any common "snafus" with your makeup.
Super Speedy Skin Care: this will give you quick guide breakdown to get in and out of the bathroom in three minutes or less. (I def need to read this one and practice haha)

What was in your Birchbox this month?

A Little Girl's Bedroom Should Be Her Own Castle

My very sassy daughter went away to visit her dad last month for two weeks. I felt like it was the perfect opportunity to re-do her room. With that said; I transformed her unloved dresser to be super girly and hot pink! Kels is very into animal print right now, so I felt it was only fair to act upon it. Here's some pictures of her new room with the updated reading nook, karaoke station, bed set, and now loved dresser. :)

I'm still working on the dresser; I want to convert what was once the top drawer into a shelf to hold her DVD player and whatever else it may serve it's purpose for. I also have to buy super girly knobs but I haven't found any that Kels and I both like. I'm also looking into getting a old antique chandelier to hang over her bed after it's spray painted a fun girly color.

Happy Booger:)

Good Wine, Fun Times!

It's no secret I love wine! My kitchen is filled with wine items, two wine racks, and not enough time to enjoy a good glass. I wanted to recycle my wine bottles after seeing so many amazing ideas on pinterest. Check out my latest creation!

1: Soak empty wine bottle in hot water for 24 hours. This will soften up the glue and make it easier to remove the label off the bottle.
2: Let the bottles air dry for 24 hours once the labels are removed.
3: Spray about 2-3 even layers of chalkboard paint on the wine bottles.
4: Let air dry for about 24 hours.
5: Get crafty with some chalk and make these babies your own ;)

July's Birchbox & TestTube Review

If you're on my FaceBook, Instagram, Blog, or Twitter... it's pretty obvious I'm obsessed with BirchBox! I received my first BirchBox back in May and I couldn't stop raving to my sister on how amazing this system was.

What is Birchbox, you ask? Birchbox is the best way to discover new grooming, beauty and lifestyle products. Sample top products from high-end brands, get expert advice, buy new favorites and earn points with every purchase aka amazingness for women and men! :)

All the samples that came in my past three BirchBoxes have been simply amazing. Below are a picture of each month's boxes! I highly recommend signing up; there is a waiting list... You'll receive an email when it's time for you to go on and purchase your subscription. The email is valid for 48 hours so don't sit on this amazing beauty tool. Click HERE if you would like to sign up for BirchBox.

May BirchBox teamed up with Gossip Girl

June BirchBox

July BirchBox teamed up with Glamour
Now onto TestTube; this is my very first TestTube subscription. I was referred to them by a lovely friend (Thanks Jen) and I'm pleased with what came in my first TestTube. How cute is the whole idea (test tube of beauty products. haha) Inside my lovely pink box that arrived was a tube, magazine and informational insert. I haven't dived into the magazine but I will soon enough; the TestTube was filled with lovely samples and many of them were full size. This program is a bit different than BirchBox; TestTube is set on a every quarter schedule. I received my summer quarter and the next one will be in October for fall. Below is what came inside my lovely TestTube.

Summer TestTube
If you're anything like me and enjoy the luxury of being a girl with tons of choices; I recommend both these programs. You can cancel them anytime! (doubt that will happen but you get the idea) I love feedback and if you have any other programs you'd like to share, please do so!

Happy Friday the 13th :)
